Set-up, take-down and clean-up

Tables and chairs are out before you arrive and gone after you leave. You bring the people; the family handles the barn.

What to know

Round and rectangle tables and 300 chairs are set to your floor plan before you arrive. Decor from the barn’s own collection is yours to use.

After the send-off, the family takes it all down and cleans up. Decorations you brought come down with you by 11 p.m.; the rest is theirs.

That is why couples say the family "thought of every contingency."

Questions

Couples ask

Do we have to clean the barn?

No. Set-up, take-down and clean-up are included. You remove your own decorations by 11 p.m.

Can we hang things from the trusses?

Decorations can’t use nails and must come down without damage. Draping and lights have been done beautifully; ask the family how.

When can vendors come in?

Usually the day before for the rehearsal and drop-off. It’s set when you book.

See it for yourself

Tours take about an hour, with Beverly and Kerwin. Bring your partner, your parents or your planner.

Ask us to take a photo down

If you’re in a photo or video here and would rather not be, tell us which one. The family will remove it, usually within two days, and let you know.
