The covered porch fireplace at dusk

Home / Weddings / The fireplaces

The fireplaces

A stone fireplace inside, and another on the covered porch looking over the lake. Both are yours for the day.

What to know

The porch fireplace is where the night slows down: rockers, the lake going dark, the string lights coming on. It is also the most photographed spot on the farm after the chapel.

Inside, the stone fireplace anchors the hall, and it is the backdrop for the family’s own Christmas photos.

Both are lit for you on cold days, and both work for a small ceremony if the weather turns.
