A Virginia barn wedding, two and a half hours from the Triangle
North on I-85 to US-15 and you’re on a farm in Southside Virginia with a barn that seats 300 and a chapel on the water.
North Carolina
For Triangle couples
A destination weekend that’s still a drive, not a flight. Guests leave Raleigh after work Friday and are at the rehearsal by dark.
Pricing that starts at $5,500 with the building, tables, chairs, set-up and clean-up included.
A real farm: 340 acres, a lake, pasture at sunset, the farm dogs, and a family that lives on the property and runs your day.

Making a weekend of it
On the way up
- Occoneechee State Park: on Buggs Island Lake in Clarksville, Virginia: boats, cabins, a campground.
- Staunton River State Park: lake cabins about an hour from the barn.
- Red Hill: Patrick Henry’s home and grave, for the history people.

About two and a half hours. I-85 north to South Hill, then US-58 and US-360 to Keysville.
Can North Carolina vendors work in Virginia?
Yes. Bring the caterer and photographer you want. Alcohol is bring-your-own with a Virginia ABC banquet license, which we’ll walk you through.
Is there lodging close by?
Keysville and Farmville have hotels, there are lake cabins at the state parks, and the bridal suite and groom’s bungalow can be used overnight.
